Do WHAT IS HARD... DO THE WORK - Day 466

    enNovember 07, 2017

    Podcast Summary

    • Choosing the hard path leads to greater rewardsEmbrace hard choices for new experiences and personal growth, despite criticism or doubt from others

Choosing the hard path in life can lead to greater rewards and personal growth. The easy road may provide comfort and convenience, but it doesn't challenge us or help us reach our dreams. Instead, embracing the hard choices, even when they seem crazy or insurmountable, can lead us to new experiences and a more fulfilling life. People may question or doubt our decisions when they require effort and determination, but this is a sign that we're on the right track. So, don't be afraid to take on the difficult tasks and pursue your goals, even if they seem hard or impossible at first. Remember, the default for most people is to choose the easy route, but the truly extraordinary things in life are often found on the harder path.

    • Embrace Challenges, They're Not as Hard as You ThinkDon't let perceived difficulty deter you from tackling challenges. They're often easier than expected and lead to personal growth and rewards.

Challenging yourself with hard tasks may seem daunting at first, but the reality is that they are rarely as difficult as we perceive them to be. Society has become soft, and people tend to avoid anything that requires effort or discomfort. However, if you want to excel and live a better life, you must be willing to embrace the hard things. The next time you consider trying something new or going after a challenge, remember that it will never be as hard as you think. It may be harder than average, but the average is abysmally low. So, laugh at the naysayers and prove them wrong. Do what's hard, and you'll reap the rewards.

What Did You Do About It?

Next time you want to blame someone else for being ____ ask yourself - what did I do about it?  We are quick to blame others when we could have done more or done things differently.  It's often partially our own fault, more than we would like to admit. Admit it and be better.
