    • Advocating for Holistic Approach to Patient CareModern medicine often overlooks nutrient depletion and root causes of health issues, leading to a cycle of new problems with each new medication. A more holistic approach, focusing on prevention, is gaining popularity but more focus is needed.

While modern medicine focuses on treating symptoms with medications, it often overlooks the importance of preventing nutrient depletion and addressing the root causes of health issues. This approach can lead to a vicious cycle of creating new problems with each new medication. The speaker, a pharmacist, shares his experience of advocating for a more holistic approach to patient care, focusing on pharmaceutical care and medication therapy management, even before it was popular. He laments that while this approach did not pay the bills at the time, he believes there is a growing awareness among people to prioritize proactive health care over reactive treatment. However, he notes that more focus is needed on prevention, as regulations and policies currently prioritize safety and efficacy of medications for treating diseases, rather than preventing them. The recent approval of COVID vaccines as preventatives further highlights this imbalance, as we lack effective preventatives for many other health issues. Ultimately, the speaker encourages individuals to take a closer look at their own bodies and prioritize preventative measures, such as maintaining proper nutrition and addressing underlying causes of health issues.

    • Lack of exposure to adversity weakens immune systemModern life's sanitization and overuse of medications weaken immune system, emphasizing the importance of controlled adversity and medication mindfulness for good health.

Our modern world, with its abundance of toxins and lack of exposure to adversity, is making us more susceptible to health issues, including pandemics like COVID-19. Our bodies need to be challenged and exposed to the world around us to build up resilience and a strong immune system. Instead, we live in a sanitized environment where everything is purified or cleaned up, leaving us unprepared for external threats. Additionally, the overuse of medications that weaken the immune system, such as steroids and those for autoimmune diseases, further compromises our ability to fight off illnesses. To protect ourselves, we need to reintroduce adversity into our lives in a healthy and controlled way, and be mindful of the medications we take. Remember, you can only change yourself, but by taking care of your health, you can inspire others to do the same.

    • Boosting Immunity with GlutathioneFocusing on boosting glutathione levels through lifestyle changes and supplementation may help us fight off diseases like COVID-19 and prevent related deaths, as well as reverse the effects of diabetes.

Our weakened immune systems, caused by various stressors in the modern world, make us more susceptible to diseases like tuberculosis and COVID-19. Glutathione, a protein produced by our bodies to keep us safe and maintain immune system function, is often depleted due to environmental toxins, chemical exposures, poor nutrition, and stress. Research suggests that people with low glutathione levels are more likely to contract COVID-19 and have worse outcomes. By focusing on boosting glutathione levels through lifestyle changes and supplementation, we may be better equipped to fight off these and other diseases. Glutathione has been shown to help reverse the effects of diabetes and prevent related deaths. It's essential to prioritize our immune health in the face of the numerous stressors in our environment.

    • The Importance of Maintaining Optimal Glutathione LevelsMaintaining Optimal Glutathione levels supports immune function, detoxifies the body, produces energy, protects cells, and prevents health issues.

Glutathione, a naturally produced antioxidant in the human body, plays a crucial role in maintaining a healthy immune system and eradicating dangerous diseases. Unlike Vitamin C, which is a pro-oxidant at high doses, Glutathione can regenerate itself using external sources like Vitamin C. As we age, our body's ability to produce Glutathione slows down due to decreased core body temperature and increased toxin exposure. Therefore, it's essential to maintain optimal Glutathione levels to support the immune system and detoxify the body. Additionally, Glutathione's primary functions include helping the body produce energy, protecting cells from oxidative stress, and supporting the liver in processing toxins. A deficiency in Glutathione can lead to various health issues, including fatigue, poor immune function, and increased susceptibility to infections.

    • The Essential Role of Glutathione in DetoxificationGlutathione is a crucial antioxidant for detoxification, but our bodies can't produce enough. Fasting and reducing caloric intake may help increase production.

Glutathione, a powerful antioxidant produced in every cell of the body, is essential for keeping up with the daily production of toxins. However, our bodies can't produce enough Glutathione to keep up with the toxins we encounter daily. While it's possible to overdose on Glutathione supplements, the body can store and recycle some of it. Fasting, which can repair mitochondria and increase energy levels, may help the body produce more Glutathione. In theory, reducing caloric intake can lead to more energy and better health, allowing the body to produce more Glutathione.

    • Reducing expenses for your bodyEliminating meat, processed foods, and limiting alcohol can reduce body's workload and increase energy levels

Reducing expenses for your body by limiting what you put in it through food and other substances can lead to increased energy production and overall improved health. This concept can be thought of as having "less expenses and more savings" for your body. For example, eliminating meat from your diet can reduce the workload on your body's detoxification processes and increase energy levels. Additionally, avoiding processed and canned foods, as well as limiting alcohol consumption, can also contribute to reducing expenses for your body. It's important to remember that everyone's body is unique, and what works best may vary from person to person. However, simple steps like these can help reduce the workload on your body and increase overall energy and vitality.

    • Making choices for a stronger immune systemConsume raw veggies and healthy fats to support glutathione production, boost it with certain foods, and make mindful decisions for overall health.

Building immunity involves making small, consistent choices that expose our bodies to hormetic stress, allowing us to gradually get stronger. This includes making mindful decisions about the food we consume, as certain behaviors and food choices can impact our master antioxidant, glutathione. While our bodies naturally produce glutathione, they are also constantly processing dead cells and waste. By making choices that support our bodies, such as consuming raw vegetables and healthy fats, we can help our bodies produce more glutathione and reduce the stress on our systems. Additionally, incorporating foods that boost glutathione production, such as certain vegetables, can further support our overall health.

    • The importance of taste in maintaining hormonal balanceEnjoying healthy foods boosts oxytocin production, improving cortisol and insulin management, and contributing to hormonal balance. Consider PowerSync 60 for a fitness program focused on hormonal health, and supplementation with glutathione may be beneficial for those over 40.

The sense of taste plays a crucial role in our overall health, affecting not only our sensations but also our pituitary gland, which in turn influences our hormonal balance. When we enjoy the taste of healthy foods, our bodies produce more oxytocin, leading to better cortisol and insulin management. Therefore, finding healthy foods that we enjoy can be a key factor in maintaining a healthy hormonal balance. Additionally, Dr. Mindy has teamed up with Tony Horton to create PowerSync 60, a revolutionary 60-day fitness program for both men and women, designed with hormonal health in mind. For those considering supplementation, especially as we age, understanding the different forms of glutathione and their benefits can be confusing. However, anyone over the age of 40 is likely deficient in glutathione, making supplementation a consideration for many. Stay tuned for more information on glutathione and aging.

    • Glutathione: More Effective in Topical FormsTopical Glutathione forms, like those encapsulated in polysaccharide sugar molecules, may be more effective than oral supplements for delivering the full benefits of Glutathione to the body. However, they may require a prescription and are not widely available over-the-counter.

Glutathione, a protein that is often supplemented for its antioxidant properties, is not effectively absorbed when taken orally due to the digestive system breaking it down into amino acids. Instead, topical forms of Glutathione, such as those encapsulated in polysaccharide sugar molecules, can be more effective in delivering the full molecule to the body without being denatured. However, this form is not widely available over-the-counter and may require a prescription through a compounding pharmacy. Additionally, certain groups such as those with underlying diseases, older adults, and individuals with autism may benefit from Glutathione supplementation. It's important to note that Glutathione is a protein, and taking protein by mouth results in the body breaking it down into amino acids, which may not be rebuilt into Glutathione. Instead, IV forms or topical forms may be more effective for delivering the full benefits of Glutathione to the body.

    • Focusing on providing the body with amino acids to produce glutathione may be more effective than directly consuming supplementsAging decreases the body's ability to produce glutathione, so focusing on obtaining amino acids through diet or supplements could be a more efficient approach

Directly consuming glutathione supplements in capsule form may not be as effective as providing the body with the necessary amino acids (glutamine, glycine, and especially cysteine) to produce its own glutathione. The body's ability to produce these amino acids and subsequently glutathione decreases as we age. Instead, focusing on obtaining these amino acids through diet or supplements could be a more efficient approach. Additionally, measuring and maintaining overall health and balance is challenging, and the recent gamification of health through wearable technology may help individuals stay more aware and engaged in their health. Ultimately, healthcare practitioners' increased responsibility for their patients' health has led to a shift in focus towards preventative measures and holistic approaches.

    • The Importance of Nutrition Education in Medical SchoolsMedical students should receive more nutrition education, ideally 150 hours, to address the root causes of health issues and prevent diseases. Proper measurement of nutrient levels is crucial but complex, and misinterpretation could lead to unnecessary treatments or missed interventions.

There is a strong argument for increasing the focus on nutrition education in medical schools. Currently, medical students receive only 15 hours of nutrition education, but a speaker in a recent conversation suggested that 150 hours would be more appropriate. This is important because proper nutrition plays a crucial role in maintaining good health and preventing diseases. However, measuring nutrition levels, such as glutathione, can be complex, and misinterpretation of test results could lead to unnecessary treatments or lack of necessary interventions. The speaker also expressed concern that the focus on vaccines and other measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic has overshadowed the need to address the root causes of immune system compromise. Instead of suppressing symptoms, it's essential to find the underlying causes and address them. Overall, the conversation highlighted the importance of prioritizing nutrition education and proper measurement of nutrient levels to improve public health.

    • Holistic Approach to Health During CrisisPrioritize overall health and wellbeing during crisis, focus on long-term safety of vaccines, be aware of negative effects of isolation and alcohol, boost immune system with antioxidants, and promote health creatively

During times of crisis, it's crucial to prioritize overall health and wellbeing, rather than relying on quick fixes or easy solutions. The speaker shared concerns about the long-term safety of COVID-19 vaccines and emphasized the importance of a strong immune system. They also highlighted the negative effects of prolonged isolation and the increase in alcohol consumption during the pandemic. The speaker's personal experience with glutathione, an antioxidant that supports immune function, has been beneficial for their family. They encouraged using creative methods to promote health, especially for children who may resist healthy habits. Overall, the conversation underscored the importance of taking a holistic approach to health and wellbeing, especially during challenging times.

    • Parents' healthy habits influence children's food choices and inspire healthy aging through transdermal supplementsParents' healthy habits can shape children's preferences and motivate them to make better food choices. Transdermal supplements offer an alternative method for maintaining healthy skin during aging.

Children often imitate their parents' healthy habits, even if they previously disliked those habits. Parents' efforts to provide nutritious meals can influence their kids' food preferences and inspire them to make healthier choices. This effect can occur at different stages of a child's life, including adolescence. As for aging, the use of transdermal supplements, like anti-aging creams, can be an appealing alternative for individuals who prefer not to consume additional supplements orally. These products can deliver antioxidants directly to the skin, providing an alternative method for maintaining healthy skin. Parents' dedication to providing their families with the best care and nutrition can have long-lasting impacts on their children's lives and their own aging process.

    • The importance of addressing internal causes for skin healthBoost glutathione levels for healthier skin from the inside out through diet and supplements

The health of our skin is not just determined by external factors, but also by what's going on inside our bodies. Damage to the skin from the outside can be a sign of deeper issues. Topical creams can help address superficial problems, but for long-term health, it's important to focus on overall skin health from the inside out. Glutathione, an antioxidant, can help protect the skin from oxidative stress and damage. While there are topical glutathione products, it's also important to consider ways to boost glutathione levels in the body, such as through diet and supplements. The speaker, who is a pharmacist and creator of skincare products, emphasizes the importance of addressing the underlying causes of skin damage rather than just treating symptoms on the surface.

    • Topical Glutathione Applications: A Convenient Alternative to PillsTopical glutathione applications provide an effective, odorless alternative to traditional pills with a money-back guarantee, and their use encourages a mindset of service and trust in the universe.

Topical glutathione applications offer an effective and more convenient alternative to traditional pill supplements. Glutathione, a powerful antioxidant, has a sulfur odor and can take some time to get used to. Topical creams have no odor, while sprays have a short-lived odor that disappears within minutes. Application frequency varies depending on individual needs and prescription instructions, but most people use it twice a day. The product's manufacturer offers a 100% money-back guarantee for those who don't see results. The speaker, inspired by his father's unwavering faith in humanity, emphasizes the importance of serving others and trusting the universe to provide resources for those who are here to make a difference.

    • The importance of human connections and serving othersFocusing on human connections and serving others can lead to greater fulfillment and financial stability, even during challenging times.

Focusing on human connections and serving others can lead to greater fulfillment and financial stability, even during challenging times. The speaker's father taught him this valuable lesson, encouraging him to make money but also to make his product accessible to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. This approach not only led to financial success but also deepened human connections that last a lifetime. The father's own journey, including traveling during the pandemic, further illustrates the importance of prioritizing personal growth and fulfillment over material possessions. The speaker's goal for the coming year is to focus on improving the health of Americans to make the country more resilient against future pandemics or challenges.

    • Focus on both mind and body for optimal healthEmbrace healthy living as a verb, strengthen bodies through diet, exercise, avoiding harmful substances, and meditation, empower self to heal and defend against health issues.

For optimal health, it's essential to focus on both the mind and body. The speaker emphasizes the importance of asking what we can do to strengthen our bodies to prevent health issues in the future. This includes proper diet, regular exercise, avoiding harmful substances, and maintaining a peaceful mind through meditation. The speaker's message to the world is to embrace healthy living as a verb, not a destination, and to empower our bodies to defend and heal themselves. The journey to good health is an enjoyable process, and we should focus on the action of health rather than the end goal. The speaker's websites, oralwellness.com and aurowellness.com, offer solutions to empower individuals to take care of their health issues on their own.
