Ep 100: Learn to Systematically Set Fitness and Life Goals for 2023, and Achieve Them

We are at episode 100, indeed a special moment for us. Thanks to all our old and new listeners for believing in what we are doing through our podcast. While Run with Fitpage started with a long-term perspective, we chose to grow step by step, episode by episode, week by week.

In this episode, our host Vikas Singh talks about setting goals. Goal-setting is an art, it requires a system, requires discipline. You will learn that how setting too big or too small goals may lead to failure of execution, and how to systematically plan and execute your fitness goals for 2023!

Vikas hosts this weekly podcast and enjoys nerding over-exercise physiology, nutrition, and endurance sport in general.  He aims to get people to get out and 'move'.  When he is not working, he is found running, almost always.  He can be found on nearly all social media channels but Instagram is preferred:)

Embracing the Inconvenient- The Power of One More Applied to Running Part 2

Embracing the Inconvenient- The Power of One More Applied to Running Part 2

In The Power of One More, Ed Mylett discusses raising your standards, embracing the inconvenient, and controlling what you can control. We apply his concepts to running, health, and fitness in Part 2 of the podcast.

What is one uncomfortable thing you can do today to improve your running or health?

Do you ever think to yourself, "I'm too old", "I'm too fat", I'm too busy"?

Are you happy with the amount of miles you are running or the pace you are at?

We discuss stopping overthinking, changing your standards, and taking action each and every day. Getting up early isn't convenient, but inconvenient actions are often those that result in the biggest results.

On The Runs 21 - Mike Beeman Part 1 - 45 Boston Marathons and Counting

On The Runs 21 - Mike Beeman Part 1 - 45 Boston Marathons and Counting

Sometimes you just happen to get lucky and are standing on the starting line to a local fun race and just happen to be standing next to a local running legend. That is what happened to us a few weeks ago when we met our next guest Mike Beeman.
Mike has currently run 45 straight Boston Marathons and yes that's very impressive, but there is so much more to Mike's story. From walking off  the football team, not telling his basketball coach that he planned to run a marathon in the middle of the season, to tearing both his quadricep tendons at the same time and being told he'll never run again.
Part 1 is here and its filled with Boston Stories, next week Part 2 will have some of Mike's most proudest moments as he shares how he was able to use running to help others.

Plus Eric's little girl Adaline makes a quick podcast appearance, Erika wishes Eric happy birthday and Eric starts to build a plan to his next few triathlons.
