    PTSD--17 Symptoms Part 5

    PTSD--17 Symptoms Part 5

In this week’s episode, Tina and Ann discuss different types of panic attacks and generational trauma. They share their thoughts on epigenetics, physical symptoms from trauma and neurobiological pathways.  They look at the definition of panic attacks from the Mayo Clinic, physical symptoms of panic attacks and how it can be a physical response of trauma. They briefly discuss the difference between panic attacks and panic disorders and being fearful of having another. They discuss reasons a panic attack can happen and nocturnal panic attacks.

The Quote for the week is: "We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely do we admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.” Maya Angelou

In order for us to make those changes, the change and hard work has to begin with us. We can do it one step at a time, one breath at a time, and we can do this together.
