    Weight loss is the most common goal. Every new client I get, about 90% of the time, is a weight loss client, and I'm not saying this is bad but let me explain something. When it comes down to weight loss people are willing to jeopardize their health in order to achieve 20lbs of weight loss before summer. The number one question I get about supplements and weight loss is, "Is it good to take fat burners? Will it help?". In this episode I want to share with you the truth about fat burners and how you can create weight loss naturally.

    Getting rid of fear

    There are things in your life right now that confuse you. There are things in your life right now that hold you back. I don't want you to think of something physical, I want you to think about something psychological. For example, is it fear that is holding you back from taking that first step to making a change in your job, career, relationship, school, business, or family? Is it fear that is making you second-guess yourself within every single decision that you make? This is a psychological counterproductive emotion that is holding you back from the success that you want within your health, business, career, Etc. Just like everything else, fear has a Kryptonite. Fear's worst enemy is confidence. Confidence is built whenever you challenge yourself in a situation that is uncomfortable and come out on the other side with an achievement of doing it anyways.

    How many times have you told yourself and others, "I'm going to lose 20lbs this year, that's my goal". Then after 4 weeks you forgot what your goal was. How many times have you "started your weight loss journey" but quit over and over again. I;ve said this before and will always live by this. It's not the lack of discipline, drive, or passion, it's the lack of self belief you have of yourself that makes these goals seem impossible. Believe in yourself!

    Working on your health is investing in your future

    Majority of the time when someone is asked what their goals are for weight loss or physique it's always something like this, "umm I want to lose about 50lbs, tone up my legs, abs, but, and arms, but I don't want to lift to heavy because I don't wanna bulk up like a guy". This goal is so superficial and is not efficient enough to create the happiness and confidence people want. Most people even struggle with knowing why they hell they want to do this fitness thing, so in this episode I want to share with you how working on your health is investing in your future......the much bigger picture.

    It's nice to find a 12 week program that promises you insane results in as little as 12 weeks, but what they forget to mention is how to sustain you progress you worked so hard for. You need to understand that this is a lifestyle. You should be learning how to eat right, move right, sleep and recover right, and take care of your health. The small steps you take to achieve your goals are habits made to be set in stone that will build into your new lifestyle.

    What is the route cause of weight gain? It's simply being in a surplus for an extended period of time, whether it's planned/organized or done without knowing. I want you to think of calories as simply energy. If your body is burning a good amount of energy in a day, but still has extra energy that hasn't been used, the body will store that energy (creating fat). 

    A lot of people do abuse the carbohydrate macro which then leads to making people believe that carbs are the issue. Carbs are found in many more products at a higher volume than the other two macros (proteins & fats). Eating to much of anything can cause weight gain, but understanding what YOUR body needs and how it all works together for health & progress will create your success.

    If it took 5 years to put on 80lbs, would 80lbs come off in 2 weeks? Media always tries to teach weight loss as this simple thing that everyone can follow when in reality it's wrong. It sets us up for failure either now or in the future. Don't get me wrong, weight loss is simple and understand nutrition is simple. It's like that saying, "give a man a fish, feed him for the night, teach the man to fish and feed him for life". Once you learn what a carb, fat, and protein is, you will truly understand what your body needs vs wants, and how to eat for health, performance, progress, ect. You would finally be in control.
